    Great Jack

    Jun 14, 2024
I looked at several different brands of motorcycle lift jacks. The safety catch arms on most other brands appeared to have flimsy looking flat bars that barely catch the safety detents whereas Redline's jack uses square tubing. This is a great jack that is made of quality parts, easy to assemble, and works great. Paired with Redline's SD1K ATV Motorcycle Engine Cradle Dolly allows me to quickly and easily jack up my Road Glide and put it on something solid for longer term use with the ease of rolling around. I highly recommend this product and I would also recommend buying this as a package deal with the Engine Cradle Dolly. Tried using a scissor jack for a while but should have bought this from the start and saved myself the headaches and hassles! [From Redline: Dear Gary, are you interested in a salesman position here at Redline? LOL]

    Q. Wil this fit a can am spider?
    A. I'm sorry but we do not know. We don't have one handy to test. You'd have to use the measurements from our website to make your best determination before ordering. Thanks Billy.

    Q. Will this work on a 2004 Honda Shadow Saber?
    A. Maybe. You really need to measure your bike's ground clearance and length/width of your frame cradle to be sure the RL135 is short enough to get under the bike, and from there, that it has ample space for the arms to lift from the frame. My apologies, but this inspection must be done by the customer. We'd love to answer your question with a simple "yes" or "no" but that's not something we can do given the huge number of motorcycles that this lift will potentially work. Thanks!

    Q. Would this fit Harley Davidson 1993 Heritage Softtail?

    Q. Will this work on a 2018 Goldwing tour
    A. Most likely not. You need to inspect under your engine cradle to see if this jack will have a sufficient location from which to lift. Most likely you will find both fairings and an exhaust header that runs underneath the engine. Assuming so, using a jack of this style would crush your fairing and exhaust. We could be wrong as we do not have a 2018 Goldwing handy to check, so naturally we must recommend the customer inspect under the bike to be sure. Thanks Bob.

    Q. What size of jack or cylinder is in the RL135 lift?
    A. We looked and they are not labeled with the tonnage from the factory. With that said, similar jacks are rated to around 2-4 tons, so we suspect the rating is in that range. Granted, the lift itself has a capacity far less than 2-4 tons due to the frame not being strong enough to handle literal tons of weight. Thanks for shopping with us!
